¹⁹ I will give you ^(A)the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and ^(B)whatever you ^[a]bind on earth ^[b]shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you ^[c]loose on earth ^[d]shall have been loosed in heaven.” ^20 (C)Then He gave the disciples strict orders that they were to tell no one that He was ^(D)the ^[e]Christ.

Put On the New Self

3 Therefore, if you have been ^(A)raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, ^(B)seated at the right hand of God. ^2 [a](C)Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth. ³ For you have ^(D)died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ, ^(E)who is our life, is revealed, ^(F)then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

³³ But ^[a]seek first ^[b]His kingdom and His righteousness, and ^(A)all these things will be ^[c]provided to you.

^5 (A)Have this attitude ^[a]in yourselves which was also in ^(B)Christ Jesus, ⁶ who, as He already ^(C)existed in the ^(D)form of God, ^(E)did not consider equality with God something to be ^[b]grasped, ⁷ but ^[c](F)emptied Himself by taking the form of a ^(G)bond-servant and ^[d](H)being born in the likeness of men. ⁸ And being found in appearance as a man, ^(I)He humbled Himself by becoming ^(J)obedient to the point of death: ^(K)death ^[e]on a cross. ^9 (L)For this reason also God ^(M)highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him ^(N)the name which is above every name, ¹⁰ so that at the name of Jesus ^(O)every knee will bow, of ^(P)those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, ¹¹ and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is ^(Q)Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹² So then, my beloved, ^(R)just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own ^(S)salvation with ^(T)fear and trembling; ¹³ for it is ^(U)God who is at work in you, both to ^[f]desire and to work ^(V)for His good pleasure.

¹⁴ Do all things without ^(W)complaining or arguments; ¹⁵ so that you will ^[g]prove yourselves to be ^(X)blameless and innocent, ^(Y)children of God above reproach in the midst of a ^(Z)crooked and perverse generation, among whom you ^[h](AA)appear as ^[i]lights in the world, ¹⁶ holding firmly the word of life, so that on ^(AB)the day of Christ I can take pride because I did not ^(AC)run in vain nor ^(AD)labor in vain.
